Going to the Chiropractor is a new experience for many of us.  Maybe we've heard about a friend's chiropractic success story or have done some research online and concluded that you are ready for an alternative.  It is also possible that you are just fed up with chronic pain and stiffness and realize it's time to do something about it. In either case, your first visit to the chiropractor will really be about getting to know the chiropractor and discussing your history, current condition and goals.  Many patients will call or write us to ask us about these question even before they consider coming in for their first visit.  Since Chapel Hill has so many options for chiropractors and alternative health providers we offer a no-charge chiropractic consultation where you can sit down and discuss your issues and possible treatment options with Dr. Hecht.

In the event that you decide to become a chiropractic patient, you will start by completing new patient paperwork (also found on this website).  Upon completion, you will meet with Dr. Hecht and discuss your chiropractic concerns and expectations as well as have the chance to ask any questions.   We will perform a physical examination and most likely take a few x-rays to see what your current state is.  Once this is complete, we will take a look at the overall results of our conversation and the exams.  Finally, we will develop a plan of action which will begin when you are completely satisfied and understand your results.  Dr. Hecht feels that one of the most important aspects of his care is your understanding.  Partners in Health & Wellness prides itself on meeting the patient and their expectations at the point they are ready.  If you would still like more information about chiropractic or would like to further discuss your painful condition, please call or email our office at (919) 933-8633 or drcharleshecht@gmail.com.
